ONE: The name of this corporation is Goddybriggs Christian Charitable Foundation.
TWO: This corporation is a nonprofit religious corporation and is not organized for the private gain of any person. It is organized under the Nonprofit Religious Corporation Law, primarily for Religious purposes. The specific purpose for which this corporation is organized is to provide social work to the public.
Here in the United States, the assistants include but are not limited to the organization and sponsorship of family and relationship conferences, biblical family counseling, relationship conflict intervention, youth assistant program, drug prevention education, sex education to promote abstinence among teenagers, and poverty assistant program.
To meet the growing need of the people in rural areas in Africa, the Goddybriggs Foundation in the past has embarked on and has undertaken free Medical Services in the form of a Medical Fair. We also provide education, in the form of scholarships and social work, in the form of poverty alleviation.
Above all these, the corporation’s underline objective is to promote and advance the knowledge of Jesus Christ to the people locally and also to the unreached people in the rural areas of Africa.
THREE: The name and address in the state of California of the corporation’s initial agent for service of process is JOHN C. AGBO, 3238 CENTURION PL, ONTARIO, CALIFORNIA 91761.
FOUR: This corporation is organized and operated exclusively for charitable work and religious purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Notwithstanding any other provision of these Articles, the corporation shall not carry any Other activities not permitted to be carried on (1) by a corporation exempt from federal income tax Under section 501©(3) of the Internal Revenue Code or (2) by a corporate contribution to which are deductible under section 1700(2) of the Internal Revenue Code. No substantial part of the activities of this corporation shall consist of carrying on propaganda or otherwise attempting to influence legislation. And the corporation shall not participate or intervene in any political campaign (including the publishing or distribution of statements) on behalf of, or in opposition to, any candidate for public office.
